HOW WE CONTRIBUTE
RAD donates 1% of our gross sales to a local non-profit focused on taking care of this earth. The RAD team also participates in team outings with these non-profits to learn more about their organization and help with their efforts.
ANGELIC ORGANICS LEARNING CENTER
In 2022, RAD is partnering with Angelic Organics Learning Center for 1% for the Planet. Angelic Organics Learning Center has three focus areas in their effort to help urban and rural people build local food systems: workshops and camps, farmer training, and urban agricultural programs.
GET INVOLVED WITH ANGELIC ORGANICS
Angelic Organics Learning Center provides many ways for volunteers to get involved and make a difference. From harvesting produce at Roots & Wings Urban Farm, to tending the gardens at the Learning Center campus, there are several opportunities available.
PAST & ONGOING PARTNERSHIPS
RAD has partnered with Severson Dells Nature Center (SDNC) for 1% for the Planet since 2020. In spring of 2021, the RAD crew came out to SDNC to help remove invasive honeysuckle as a part of their restoration efforts. Part of the proceeds from RAD's Severson Dells t-shirt and hoodie, and both Think Outside shirt go back to SDNC. Since March 3, 2020, RAD has given Severson Dells Nature Center (SDNC) a total of $12,400 through 1% for the Planet! These funds have been used for nature education and ecological restoration.
